Honestly, I don’t think it would miss it too much at first if it went away, but after a while I might. I personally do not use Twitter and have not really gotten in to it. As for Facebook, I have been a member since 2006 and have not liked most of the profile changes that have occurred, but I do love Facebook. Beyond the fact that it is highly entertaining to “Facebook stalk” which of course I never do, it is also a great way to keep in touch with friends and relatives that don’t live close, or even if they do. Its fun to share videos and photos and to constantly give updates. It would be a very strange world without Facebook or other social media sites because I feel like that is what my generation has grown accustomed to. We are used to spending time on the internet and conversing with people through media sites. What a different world we would live in without it. I am not sure people could easily transfer to a life without Facebook. I think it depends on how often it is used by specific people. I feel like business’ would just have to go back to the old ways of doing things like putting up fliers and calling around for advertisements, what a more costly thing to do!
